The purpose of the dialogue is for you to receive counselling in order to make decisions and to plan the next step in your studies.

Study counselling during Christmas

During the period of 27th of Dececmber – 4th of January we are not available for drop-in. You can reach us by telephone 9-15 or send us an e-mail.

 

During our phone hours you'll talk to one of our study counsellors. We work with different education areas so during our phone hours you might talk to a counsellor that is not affilliated with your study area. If you have specific questions related to your programme/couse we recommend you to book an appointment with the counsellor specialized within your study area. Request a meeting by filling out the form at the bottom of this page.

If you are studying a web-based distance programme and / or do not have the opportunity to visit us on campus, you are welcome to contact us and we will conduct the meeting via telephone or online.

Distance Student?

If you are studying a web-based distance programme and / or do not have the opportunity to visit us on campus, you are welcome to contact us and we will conduct the meeting via telephone or online.

PhD Student?

If you are a PHD Student, you can contact ServiceCenter for counselling.

Do you have foreign study merits?

We  also offer study guidance for individuals with a foreign secondary education diploma and / or academic studies.

Preparation

The study counsellor’s job is to ask questions that leads to reflection and give information that can help you make decisions. To prepare for an appointment with us, think through what you want to discuss with us and have relevant information with you.

Study counsellors works with confidentiality.

We may handle personal data

When you contact the study- and career counselling, we may require some personal data from you, for example personal ID number, notes or records about what type of support you need, etc. All data that can be linked to your person is handled in accordance to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
