Research methodology, design of experiments, and publication is a course for Ph.D. students in how to plan, analyze, write and publish research results. The course will cover research planning, methodology, scientific theory, analyzing strategies, and how to write a good paper. Also publishing strategies, the code of conduct and the responsibility of being a good researcher will be discussed. The general focus is engineering and different applications within, welding, additive manufacturing, thermal spraying, robotics and automation will be used as examples. The students will also practice different scientific skills in this course.
